Do I need to bring anything to the class?
We will provide everything you need for your class including all equipment, ingredients and aprons as well as a box to take your creations home in. The only thing you need to remember is to wear shoes which cover your toes.
I have food allergies, can I still join a class?
If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, please reach out to us via email before booking a class, and we’ll let you know whether we are able to accomodate you. If given sufficient notice, we can prepare gluten free bakes. Please note that our bakes are prepared in a kitchen where wheat flour is used constantly so we cannot guarantee that no cross contamination will occur.
What happens if I can no longer attend a class?
Once you have paid for a class, we are unable to offer a refund if you choose to cancel your place. You can, however, transfer the booking to another person or receive a credit note if you cancel your place at least 7 days prior to the class date. Please see our Terms & Conditions for more information about cancellations and transfers.
How many people can attend a class?
The majority of our classes are limited to 14 students.
Is there parking onsite?
We do not have an allocated car space for visitors in the complex, however, free parking is available on Owen Street. Please do not park in the car spaces outside Icing Bliss. They belong to tenants in other warehouses.
Are classes suitable for any age?
The age group for each class is indicated on the booking page. We run classes for children aged 6-12yrs and 13-17yrs, as well as classes for adults. All Icing Bliss staff have completed a Working With Children Check (WWCC).
Will I do any baking in the class?
No, our classes focus on learning decorating techniques. All participants will receive pre-baked cupcakes, cookies or other bakes ready to decorate. No one will be required to use an oven or stove top during the class.
Can I book the Icing Bliss studio for private events?
Absolutely! If you would like to book a birthday party or private group event please contact us using the enquiry form and we can discuss your options.
How much are the classes?
Each class is individually priced and can be seen on the relevant class pages.
Is there disabled access?
Icing Bliss is located on the first floor, above Ms Peacock, up a long flight of stairs. Unfortunately we do not have a lift and are unable to accomodate anyone with mobility issues.
